Pepo Abravanel at the Jewish summer camp

This picture was taken in 1962 in the Jewish summer camp in Perea, a small village by the sea near Thessaloniki. On the left is my uncle Pepo Abravanel, my mother's brother who was responsible for the camp, and probably they have some kind of a parade waiting to put the flag up. The man crossing his arms is Mr. Doukas. He was a gymnast working for Anatolia College and for long years responsible for the athletic events in the summer camp. In the back of the picture you can see my son Yofi at the age of twelve.
