Fikos Nissim

The person riding the bicycle is Fiko Nissim. He is wearing the outfit of the boy scouts. He was a friend of Solon Molho, my husband. He escaped deportation and later went to Italy where he got married to an Arouesti and lived there for the rest of his life. I don't know how many children they had.

On the back it says: "excursion ferme americaine, 9 Avril 1933" that is, "Excursion to the American Farm 9 April 1933."

The American Farm School of Thessaloniki, Greece, is a private, non-profit educational institution founded in 1904 to serve the rural population of Greece and the Balkans. Major divisions include the Secondary School, the Dimitris Perrotis College of Agricultural Studies, the department of Lifelong Learning and a cultural exchange program for US and international high school students known as Greek Summer.
