Yomtov Geron and his family

This is a photo of my husband's parents - Yomtov and Rebecca Geron, nee Asher, with their daughter Ema. It was taken in Bankya in 1924. It seems that it was a habit among Jewish families to visit spa resorts. My family also went to such resorts frequently. My husband's father was a textile dealer and his mother was a housewife. Their house in Sliven was close to ours and our families knew each other. Yerom was a very ethical person. Everybody respected him for his nice character. He often helped people in need.
