Korina Solomonova in the Jewish nursery

This is a photo of the Jewish nursery where I went. The photo was taken in Sliven in 1930. I am the second from the left in the first row. I was five or six years old then. My future husband Shemaya Geron is the first from the left in the second row, sitting, and next to him is my sister Luisa Alhalel, nee Solomonova. We had many talented teachers in the nursery and learned many songs and poems. We spoke Bulgarian in the nursery, but learned Jewish songs in Hebrew.
