Back of photo of Jakov Kalef wearing a fez

This is the back of the photo of my granduncle, Jakov Kalef, in Carigrad where he served in the military. The picture was taken in 1918. It reads: ?For long-lasting memory to my dear and beloved wife Lenka from your husband Jakov M. Kalef Carigrad 12 May 1918.? [Editor's Note: it looks like the words ?For the European War? were added to this at some later point. This refers to WWI.]
