This is the back of the photo of my paternal grandmother, Matilda Kalef, dressed in a traditional Jewish costume. The photo was taken in the S. Alkalaj studio in Belgrade. Handwritten on the back it reads: ?Matilda - Mazal Kalef, mother of Avram Kalef, grandmother of Lidija (Matilda) and Bred (Rahela) Kalef, great-grandmother of Edita Cerge and great-great grandmother of Leana and Sara Vuckovic?.?

The Centropa Collection at USHMM
