Anna Danon's uncle Bohor Aladjem with his wife Regina Aladjem

This is my mother's elder brother Bohor Aladjem with his wife Regina. The photo was taken in Kyustendil in the 1910s.

They were the aristocrats of the family. They were self-confident and had had a different upbringing to the rest of the family. They had 4 children. Later on we used to call one of their daughters 'the woman worth millions' because she married one of the AED partners in Israel and she was quite wealthy. Bohor and Regina died in Israel.
