Anna Danon's father's cousin, Rebeka Mashiah
This is my father's cousin Rebeka Mashiah.The photo was taken in Sofia in 1919. She was married to the owner of the shop called Sea of Stockings. They were very rich people. In order to escape fascism they moved to Yugoslavia where they suffered the worst possible fate: they were sent to a concentration camp and she was killed there. I don?t know if her husband survived.
