Shmuel Kalef's family

This is a picture of my cousin Tilda Kalef and her parents, my uncle Shmuel Kalef (the one on the right) and his wife Kler Kalef. The photo was taken in Plovdiv in 1943, on Tilda's third birthday. My uncle is wearing the Jewish badge. During the Holocaust he didn't have the right to own a shop and he was sent to the ghetto in Plovdiv, built especially for Jews.

Uncle Shmuel's family went to Israel in 1948. My uncle worked as a docker in a port and after that he had a shop in the town of Ako. Tilda became a clerk and her sister Rebeca is a biologist.
