Shimon and Matilda Gershon

This is a picture of my uncle Shimon Haim Gershon and his sister Matilda Haim Gershon. It was taken in Plovdiv in 1923. Shimon is my father's oldest brother. My father and my uncle owned a big shop in the centre of the town near Maritsa pharmacy. Uncle Shimon and Aunt Sarina, his second wife, went to Israel in 1948. They went on dealing with trade there. They have four children - Zhak, Vitali and Rudi who are engineers and a daughter Rebeca who is an accountant. My aunt Matilda and her family also moved to Israel in 1948.
