Itzhak Menda

This is a photo of my cousin Itzhak Menda, taken in Vidin in 1933. He was the son of my aunt Ernesta who got married to a rabbi in Burgas. Her family lived in the town of Vidin then. Itzhak was a very kind child. I loved the times when he came to visit us in Plovdiv. He changed when he grew up. His family left for Israel in 1942. His mother divorced her husband Ezra Menda and later he died in an accident. Itzhak Menda works as a fitter in Israel. He married his wife Sol who is from Morocco and has two daughters and a son, who live in Tel Aviv.
