Das sind meine Eltern Karl und Etel Drill, geborene Wollmann, auf ihrer Hochzeit.

Meine Eltern wurden in Wien einander vorgestellt. Mein Onkel Alexander kannte jemanden, der meinen Vater kannte, und so trafen sie einander.

Da der Vater meiner Mutter 1918 an der Spanischen Grippe gestorben war, führte mein Onkel die ‚Verhandlungen' - es ging unter anderem auch um die Mitgift.

Meine Eltern heirateten am 11. Februar 1934 in Wien im Hietzinger Tempel in der Eitelbergergasse.

Meine Mutter zog nach der Hochzeit zur Familie meines Vaters nach Laa/Thaya.
