Abraham Jekel

Das ist mein Urgroßvater Abraham, der Sohn von Moses Jekel. Mein Urgroßvater Abraham wurde 1857 geboren. Er und seine Frau Jente, geborene Tanne, lebten in Galizien, in der Stadt Dolina [heute Ukraine]. Wann sie nach Wien übersiedelten, weiß ich nicht genau. In Wien wohnten sie in der Jenullgasse, im 13. Bezirk. Abraham starb 1929, Jente überlebte den Urgroßvater und wurde 1930 in Wien beerdigt. Beide liegen am Zentralfriedhof am 4. Tor in einem Grab. Sie hatten vier Kinder: Salomon, Herschel, meinen Großvater Mendel [Max], der am 4. Juli 1889 geboren wurde und Julius.
