In this photo, you can see my husband and me in Amsterdam.
We are just about to go on a tour of the canals and ports of Amsterdam.
When I was a child, our whole family would go to Holland together, because my brother Paul emigrated to Holland in the early 1930s due to work-related reasons.
I always felt comfortable there. My husband and I often visited my brother in Holland, too; we were in Amsterdam for the first time together in 1958.
That was also the first time we left Israel.
