Das ist ein Foto von meiner Großmutter in ihrer Wohnung in Graz, in der Keplerstraße 49. Sie sitzt in ihrem Büro an ihrem Schreibtisch. Meine Großmutter war die Prokuristen des Landesproduktengroßhandels, den der Großvater 1916 eröffnet hatte. Wie mir alle versichert haben, war er der nach außen Auftretende, sie aber die Seele des Geschäfts. Das Foto ist im Jahre 1937 entstanden. Im Jahre 1934 war der Großvater gestorben, und meine Großmutter hatte das Geschäft gemeinsam mit ihrem Sohn Franz und der Tochter Anni weitergeführt.
