Hermann Brück als k. u. k. Soldat

Das ist mein Onkel Hermann während des 1. Weltkrieges als Soldat der k. u. k. Armee.

Onkel Hermann war mit Tante Anna, einer Nichtjüdin, verheiratet.

Er besaß in Wien und in Allensteig einen Autofuhrhof mit mehreren Autos. Allensteig ist ein Ort in Niederösterreich.

Was genau mein Onkel während des Holocaust erlebte, weiss ich nicht. Aber ich begegnete ihm noch einmal in Urvind [Rumänien].

Er versteckte sich für einige Zeit bei uns, und da die Tante Anna schwanger war, flohen sie dann weiter nach Bukarest, wo ihre Tochter Maria geboren wurde.

Nach dem Krieg waren sie wieder in Wien, aber ich habe ihre Spur nicht aufnehmen können.
