15th class reunion of my father´s secondary school class. Father is the third from the right in the last row.
Father went to the gymnasium on Tavaszmezo street and Kalman Mikszath junior was his classmate [Mikszath´s father was one of the greatest 19th century Hungarian novelists]. Father was very good at Latin and Greek but he was absolutely unable to learn any other language, his German pronunciation was bad too -- despite the fact that he came from a family which lived in Western Hungary and everybody in the family knew German.
