This picture was taken in a studio. The identity of the women in the photo is unknown. On the other side it is dated December 5, 1917. In pencil on one side is written in Serbian, 'A souvenir from your acquaintance Beta from the snajderaja, Sarajevo" and something similar is written in the other direction in German. Snajderaja is a word that came from German, and it means a clothing shop or dress shop. Sometime, women would gather at these places to socialize and sew.
