This is an old wedding picture but nothing is known about the people in the photo. The photo is a good example of the old saying 'Ala Turka Ala Franka,' which means 'a little Turkish and a little French.' The men are wearing fezes, a standard component of Turkish dress, and the women very western dresses. This mix of cultures could be found throughout Sarajevo before the war.
