This photograph shows me and my wife Anna in our Bratislava apartment in 2006. It was taken by our friend Yuri Dojc. Yuri is working on something similar to the Centropa organization, only that he does it through photographs. The project he's working on is called: Holocaust survivors documented by Yuri Dojc since 1996, in the Slovak Republic. The slogan of this project is the following: We Endured, No foreign sky protected me, no stranger´s wing shielded my face. I stand as witness to the common lot, survivor of that time, that place. The Centropa Collection at USHMM

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. USHMM will soon offer a Special Collections page for Centropa.
