This photo was taken in Thessaloniki in the 1930s. Here you can see me (first from right) with two friends during the summer holidays.
Before the war I had loads of friends from school and I used to play with them in the neighborhood as we all lived close to each other.
The children I used to play in the neighborhood with were not only Jewish kids but Christian as well.
