The wedding picture of Rosa Rosenstein and Maximilian Weisz

The wedding picture of Rosa Rosenstein and Maximilian Weisz

This is the wedding picture from my first marriage to Maximilian Weisz. It was taken in 1929 in Berlin. Maximilian, my first husband was a tailor, but above all he was a Hungarian. Oh, he certainly was a handsome young man! Before the wedding we drove to a photographer whose studio was at the beginning of Schönhauser Allee. He was Russian by birth, his name was Pergamentschik and he was one of the best photographers in town. Then Hitler came to power and Pergamentschik immigrated to Palestine and opened a studio there.
