Photo of my son Dejan and me, during his Army service. Photo was taken in Slavonska Pozega (Croatia), 1986.

In 1967, I had a son Dejan, my only child. 

As a teenager Dejan was sportsman and used to play handball. Every year he went to the Jewish summer camps in Pirovac and Brac (Croatia). He was active member of  the Belgrade Jewish Community, where, after finishing his studies, he was in charge of culture and education. He participated at seminars in Switzerland, France, Germany, Greece, USA, etc. During his studies he was painting on glass and he took part at exhibitions in Novi Sad. 

 

Centropa Collection acquired by USHMM

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
