Jolan Hacker, Suzana Petrovic’s aunt

Photo of my aunt Jolan Hacker (married Lang). Photo was taken in Pancevo, 1926.

Joli or Jolan also lived in Novi Sad. She was married to a man named Artur Lang and they had a son, Ervin, who lives in Israel. He worked until his retirement at the airport as a telegraphist.  Joli was deported in 1944 to Auschwitz, where she was killed.

Joli was the daughter of Karoly and Berta Hacker.  Karoly sold large mechanical equipment and Berta was a housewife.  They had a total of 3 sons and 4 daughters.  Of the entire family, only one survived.
