This is a photograph of my brother Marcel Bachner. It was taken in Topolcany, in the studio of Aladar Vermes, sometime around the 1920s. The fifth to be born was my brother Marcel. He was also born in Banovce nad Bebravou, in 1911. He worked as an upholsterer for Mr. Ratenstein in Topolcany. They murdered him during World War II.
