This is a photo of me and my much-loved children. The first on the left is my younger daughter, Ivana. I'm sitting beside her, on my left sits my older daughter Sasha (Alexandra) and beside her, on the far right, is my son Ivan. The photograph was taken at a family celebration in my Bratislava apartment, shortly after the year 2000.
Despite the fact that I didn't take my children to synagogue, they knew that their father is a Jew. So that also they are half Jewish. The most inclined towards Judaism is my older daughter Alexandra. She feels that she's more of a Jewess.
