This is my father's brother Naum Erlihman. This photo was taken in Odessa in 1936.
Naum was born in Odessa, in 1886. He studied in Germany, received medical education there and returned to Russia with diploma of doctor. Naum worked as a surgeon in Kronshtadt for a long time. Before the Great Patriotic War he moved to Odessa and worked as chief doctor of the town polyclinic. During the Great Patriotic War he was mobilized to the army. He was a military doctor of the 1st range, a surgeon. Naum perished during an air raid when he was in his surgery in Sevastopol. A bomb hit the surgery. They recognized him by his wristwatch. Uncle Naum had a son named Boris and two daughters: Lusia and Tatiana.
