Zseni Rozenberg and her son Emil

Zseni Rozenberg and her son Emil

On the picture is my husband's mother Rozenberg Zseni (maiden Broder).
My father-in-law, that is my husband's father, was Emil Rozenberg and his mother Zseni Rozenberg [nee Broder].

His father was a teacher and later the school principal. His mother, as was the practice then, was a housewife. At the time the custom was that men earned money and worried about the family finances while the women took care of the children and the house. I can only say the nicest things about his family. They were exceptionally tolerant and good people. They always considered me to be their daughter; I was especially fond of his mother. She was a wonderful woman who took me as her daughter and treated me in that way.
