This is my father’s brother, my uncle Rudolf Neuwirth, as a medical undergraduate in a military hospital during World War I. He became a doctor in Ladce. He, his wife and his son Palo were deported and perished in Auschwitz in 1943.
The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. USHMM will soon offer a Special Collections page for Centropa.
