This is a picture of my maternal grandfather, Julius Bondy, and his wife, Maria Bondyova, nee Buchwaldova, in their house on the main square in Holic. The photo was taken in the 1920s.
My grandparents produced soda water. They weren't rich; they were middle class businessmen.
