Janko Polack

This is my aunt Jolanka Polackova, nee Bondyova’s, son Janko Polack. The photo was taken in Holic in the early 1930s.

Aunt Jolanka was my mother’s sister. She was married and had a son called Janko. She perished in Auschwitz in 1942. Janko died in Poland when he was 17. I heard that he fled from Auschwitz oncentration camp but was caught. His arm had been cut, probably because of the number.
