This is a photo of me with a classmate of mine from high school. I unfortunately don?t remember his name. The photo was taken in June 1954. During the first half of the 1950s, I was actually attending school. Back then we used to go on brigades more often than to school. Once time we'd go plant trees, another time we'd go shovel snow, we were always going on some sort of brigade. Always at the beginning and at the end of the school day, we had to sing the ?Song of Work.? I remember that, that was the main program.
