Chaim Orenstein während seiner Bar Mitzwa

Das ist mein Neffe Chaim Orenstein. Er ist der Sohn meiner jüngsten Schwester Towa, die 1917, während unserer Flucht vor dem 1. Weltkrieg, in Ungarn, in einem Dorf in der Nähe von der Stadt Debrecen, geboren wurde. Towa ging schon 1935 aus Obertyn, das heute in der Ukraine liegt, als Zionistin nach Palästina. Chaim ist auf dem Foto 13 Jahre alt und feierte in Israel seine Bar Mitzwa. Chaim wurde Offizier beim Militär.
