Hana Rayzberg with her music teacher Anna and schoolmates

These are pupils of the children's music studio. In the center is my music teacher Anna, and I am on the left in the second row. We were photographed after a concert. I don't know the other students, since we were having individual classes and only met at concerts. This photo was taken in Ludza in 1938.

I had a happy childhood. These were the happiest years in my life. We were not quite wealthy and Mama could not afford to buy a piano for me. I attended a music studio where I had classes. I also performed at school parties playing the piano. I played pieces by Brahms and Beethoven.
