This is me on a field day in the Sunny Beach resort, with chess players from all over the country. The picture was taken in the 1980s. Our team, led by me, won the prize and here I was given the trophy. We won the gold medal.
Once I was among the representatives of the geophysics branch at a chess competition, as I collaborated for some time with their publishing house. My husband taught me to play chess. This was our way to relax and amuse ourselves within our family. And so, we played chess. Later on, I took part in various competitions. I have plenty of medals, many of them from competitions on a national level.
