This photo was taken in Los Angeles, California, USA, in 1927. This is the family of Leon Lidgi, my mother's brother.
My mother had two brothers and one sister, who immigrated to the USA in 1897/8. Leon Lidgi had four sons. In the center are my uncle and his wife. Standing to their sides are their twins Haim (on the left) and Norbert (on the right). They were 13 years old then. Their other sons are sitting: 16-year-old Marko (on the left) and 18-year-old Albert (on the right). There is something interesting about our family - both twins took part in World War II exactly at the time when I also took part in it. One of them, Norbert, died as a pilot, without us ever meeting.
