This is a picture of my first husband Oskar Klopstock. The photo was taken in Bratislava in 1942.
Oskar was born in 1906 in Namestovo, Czechoslovakia and worked as a bank official. However, we were only married for a short time, two years, actually, and then I got a divorce, returned to my family and worked there. I was employed with the Klinger factory. I worked in the export department because I spoke English rather well by then. I wish I knew it today but I haven't spoken it for decades.
