Karoly Klein and his wife

Karoly Klein and his wife

This is a picture of one of my cousins on the Klein side, my adopted brother's real father's relatives. The man on the picture is called Karoly Klein and he was blind. I think he was born blind because his parents were cousins and there were several marriages between relatives in his family. The woman on the photo is his wife. They lived in Budapest on Klauzal Square. The photo must have been taken sometime in the 1920s. They survived the war in the ghetto and died sometime in the 1950s. They had a child, a son, who still lives in Budapest and is a painter.
