This is a photo of the family of my father's brother Avram Sabitai. It was taken in the 1940s.
Avram's wife's name is Sarina, just like my mother. One of their daughters is called Ziumbiula (left) and the other one is Clair. Uncle Avram was a harness-maker - he used to make leather soccer balls. Avram was the only one in my father's family who didn't live in his father's house with his brothers and sisters. He got married and had three children - the third one was born in Israel, where he emigrated with his whole family at the end of the 1940s.
