Salvator and Marko Israel in Italy

This is my husband Salvator Israel (in the middle) with his father Marko Israel (first form left). I don?t know the third person. The photo was taken in the 1920s in Venice, Italy. My husband's father was a respected merchant in Bulgaria and traveled a lot and he took his son with him on some of his business trips. The photo was taken on such an occasion. My husband was born on 2nd April 1908 in Plovdiv in Bulgaria. He went to study in France, in Montpelier, and was a university student between 1928-1938. He graduated in Paris as a medical doctor and became an assistant in the university and lived in France for ten years. Then he had to go back to Bulgaria, because he could not support himself financially. After his return, in 1938, he worked for a while in the state hospital in Plovdiv and then opened his own medical practice where he worked until 1941.
