Matilda and Salvator Israel with a relative

Here is a picture of Albert Agvadish, me and my husband Salvator Israel (from left to right) in Paris where Albert is from. The photograph was taken in the 1960s. Albert is a cousin of mine and a cousin of my husband, without a blood relation, but a distant relative to both of us. I have traveled a lot with my husband. We have been almost everywhere in Europe and we also visited his sister Elizabeth in the USA. She had sent us an invitation and bought us the airplane tickets. I often accompanied my husband to conferences on the history of medicine. We also went to Oswiencim [Auschwitz] in Poland, where all the relatives of my husband's mother Leontin died.
