Rafael Abravanel

Rafael Abravanel was the eldest brother of my husband Leo.

He is the only one among the relatives of my husband that I never had the chance to meet. And this is because he was living in Spain. There were rumors that they killed him because he was hiding rabbis in his house. I don’t know much about his wife. Sometime after the occupation his daughter, Korina came to find me in Thessaloniki. I was very pleased to meet her. She stayed with me for a couple of days and then she went back to Spain.
