Jacko Abravanel

This is a photo of Jacko Abrananel, the son of Alberto Abravanel, my husband’s brother. It was taken in Salonica, but I don’t know when.

Such toys were very much in fashion when I was a young girl. His sister name was Lilika. They had another brother called Gaston who died in Hirsch hospital. They did not manage to save him. And they had another sister called Zermain. The oldest, Zermain, married her cousin Moise Abravanel and Lilika married a widower who had a child in Israel. After World War II their family emigrated to Israel. Later on Jackos married a Polish Jew, a very tall and virile woman and they had a daughter together who became an airhostess. Unfortunately after some years Jacko was killed by a bomb.
