Das ist meine Mutter als 18jährige junge Frau. Meine Mutter wuchs in einer reichen Kaufmannsfamilie auf und war, wie sich das damals gehörte, eine Zeitlang in einem Schweizer Mädchenpensionat. Als sie dann nach Innsbruck kam und meinen Vater heiratete, wurde ich 1921 geboren, und zwei Jahre später kam meine Schwester Ellen zur Welt.

Centropa Collection acquired by USHMM

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
