Wedding photo of Edit Kovacs and Vilmos Weisz

Photo taken after my wedding ceremony to Vilmos Weisz, my first husband, on June 8, 1941, which took place in the synagogue on Pava Street, 8th disctrict, Budapest. Vilmos was an apprentice electrician. Our daughter was born in 1942. Our marriage was very short because Vilmos was taken to a forced labor camp a year after the wedding. He only saw his daughter a few times before his death in forced labor in Balf in January 1945.
