Edit Kovacs' nephew Gyorgy Kiss

Gyuri, my sister Gizella's son, was born in 1942. He survived the Holocaust in a yeallow-star house and later in the ghetto, looked after by his grandmother, Katalin. He has a sister, Erzsi, who was born in 1950. After the war, we got back our flat, where we all lived together until the revolution of 1956 when Gizella left for Canada with her son Gyuri and her daughter Erzsi, who had been born in 1950. We have kept up a very close connection with Gizella and I visited have them more than a dozen times. My nephew Gyuri calls me once every three weeks even today. He lives in Montreal and owns a factory that produces sports equipment; he is very rich. He has two children and a grandchild.
