Edit Kovacs' daughter Maria Daragos and nephew Gyuri Kiss

Photo of my daughter Maria Daragos and my nephew Gyuri Kiss. The two children survived the Holocaust in a yellow-star house and later in the ghetto, mostly looked after by their grandmother, Katalin. Maria graduated from an economic high school and worked as a referee first in a ministry and later in the social services. She has two sons and two grandchildren. Gyorgy emigrated to Canada with his parents and sister in 1956. He lives in Montreal and owns a factory that produces sports equipment. He is very rich. He has two children and a grandchild.

The Centropa Collection at USHMM

The Centropa archive has been acquired by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. USHMM will soon offer a Special Collections page for Centropa.
