Tonci Berkovic and Malvina Gruenwaldova

This photo was taken in Breznica in the 1920s. You can see my oldest sister Tonci Berkovic (nee Kleinmannova) as a young girl on the right and my cousin Malvina Gruenwaldova, who was born in Presov in 1907. She is the daughter of one of my mother's brothers, either Adolf or Toba Gruenwald.

My sister Tonci was born in 1910. She got married to a man called Berkovic and had three children. All of them were killed in Auschwitz in 1942. My cousin Malvina survived the Holocaust and died in Montreal, Canada in 1980.
