My husband Karel Rutar is in this photograph as a little boy. Karel is sitting at the far right in the bottom row. The picture was taken in Lubna, near Rakovnik, where the Prague Jewish religious community used to organize trips for children during the holidays. I was also in Lubna several times, so Karel and I could theoretically have met there, but we don?t remember each other. The program had nothing to do with religion, though the stays were organized by the Jewish religious community. I was a child, so I don?t remember summer holidays much, I just recall that on Friday evenings we used to have hash that I didn't at all like!
