Harry Brodmann emigrating to England

This is my brother Harry, shortly after his escape to England on a Kindertransport.

Just shortly after Nazi-Germany invaded Austria, my mum sent my brother and me to an institution for Jewish children, to save our lives.

He was nine years old. And I got on a transport to Palestine. My brother was very lucky: he was taken to a Jewish lord in England.

He was doing very well over there. He studied a lot and he became a great personality; a nuclear scientist.
